With their debut EP on the horizon, alt-rock outfit Evawolf have given us a taste of what to expect. Abundant with energy, the emotive ‘I Could Be Wrong’ combines Joey’s soulful vocals with Natalie’s gorgeous violin legato. Drummer James does a decent job of trying to tether the epic melody to Earth. Although, that is a tall order. The song almost loses impact for trying to be too monumental in sound. At just over four-and-a-half minutes the initial bold entrance is quickly forgotten and the weird modulation in the chorus starts to grate. There’s huge potential in their sound, particularly with current trends in the alternative world, but the execution lets this song down.
